John Robert Mullinix, 79, Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away on Saturday, December 23, 2017, at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, Florida.

Born December 16, 1938, in Wabash County, Indiana, he was the son of Floyd F. and Elizabeth D. Donaldson Mullinix.  On November 7, 1958, at the New Salem Church of the Brethren, he was married to Carol Viola Tom, and she survives.

John graduated from Urbana High School and attended Manchester College for two years.  He was a member of the National Guard for six years and retired from R.R. Donnelley, where he worked for over forty years.  

In addition to his wife, Carol V. Mullinix, Lehigh Acres, FL; he is survived by two daughters, Marianne E. Mullinix, Harrisburg, PA; and Marcia N. Mullinix, Mt. Joy, PA; one brother, William Mullinix, Converse; and two sisters, Martha Colburn, N. Manchester; and Beatrice Nodler, Neosho, MO.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Albert Donald Mullinix.

Private burial was in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Indiana.
