Tammy Jo Finney, 53, Warsaw, and formerly of Miami County, passed away at 4:53 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Born June 4, 1964, in Peru, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mildred Ensley Smith. 
She was a machinist and worked at Tecomet in Warsaw, Indiana.

Survivors include her children, JC Smith (companion Kayla Slagal), Warsaw;  Jennifer Miles (companion Russell Carrick), Peru; and Michael Smith (companion Kirstie Rutledge), Peru; grandchildren, Hannah Miles, Lily Carrick, Evan Carrick, Lydia Carrick, Sophia Smith, Alexia Carrick, and Staci Slagal.

She is also survived by sisters, Marylou Gladwell, Barbara Adams, Susan Helton, and Kathi Leonhardt; and brothers, Michael Smith and Danny Smith.  She was preceded in death by two brothers, Howard W. Smith and Stephen Smith, and one sister, Edna M. Reed.

A time of visitation with family and friends will be held from 4-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.
