Beatrice W (Angle) Scott

Beatrice W. Angle Scott, 98, Logansport, passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Monday, December 17, 2018, at Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport, Indiana.

Born on September 24, 1920, in Cass County, Indiana, she was the daughter of John Harvey and India Blanche Boone Angle.  On April 5, 1950, in Rossville, Indiana, she was married to Carl J. Scott, and he preceded her in death on May 13, 1999.

She was a member of Corinth Brethren Church, Twelve Mile.  She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, spending time with her family, and listening to her girls sing in the group Fourgiven.  She was a devoted prayer warrior for her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Cyrena (Ray) Staller, Logansport; Julie (Dave) Fred, Kewanna; and Jill Zartman, Rochester; sons, Kevin (Cindy) Scott and Dana (Kelly) Scott, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Adam Scott, Wes (Grace) Scott, and  Stephanie (Blake) Mollenkopf, all of Logansport; Ashley (Andy) Pedigo, Kokomo; India (Joe) Isbell, Texas; Duane (Ashley) Scott, Logansport; Tai (Eric) Walsh, Macy; James (Kourtney) Fred, Rochester; Cody (Jennifer) Scott, Logansport; Cara (Chris) Adalade, Illinois; Silas (Tenille) Zartman, Wabash; Erica (Marc) Heater, Royal Center; Eli (Bre) Fred, Kewanna; Nick (Maggie) Erickson, Colorado; Kirsten (Caleb) Koontz, Lafayette; great-grandchildren, Zayne, Paley, and Crew Scott; Kinzie, Gavin, Logan, and Remley Mollenkopf; Keaton and Quinn Scott; Hagen and Hudson Pedigo; Carter, Cora, and Collette Scott; Chloe Scott; Jacob Fred; Roslyn and Eleanor Walsh; Nila Adalade, and Hank Erickson, and an additional four on the way.  Also surviving are sisters-in-law, Rosanna (Richard) Scott, and Phyllis (William) Scott.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents; son-in-law, Dana Zartman; brothers, Buren and Merle Angle; and sisters, Vernie Carney, Ruby Sullivan, Esther Morris, Addie Miller, Clara Jones, Mildred Harrison, Maxine Burkholder, and Margaret Kingery; one niece, Jane Mavrick, who was raised as a sister; and sisters and brothers-in-law, William Scott, Richard Scott, Fairy and Kenneth Bowman, and Margaret and Roy Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018, at Corinth Brethren Church, with Pastor Cole Westwood officiating.  Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Cemetery Association or the Twelve Mile First Responders.
