Carol Viola (Tom) Mullinix

Carol Viola Tom Mullinix, 77, Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2019, at her residence.

Born June 27, 1942, in North Webster, Indiana, she was the daughter of Levant and Edna E. Cripe Tom. On November 7, 1958, at the New Salem Church of the Brethren, she was married to John Robert Mullinix, and he preceded her in death on December 23, 2017.  

Carol graduated from Milford High School.  While living in Indiana, Carol attended New Salem Church of the Brethren and Liberty Mills Church of the Brethren.  She was active in the Lee Boulevard Baptist Church in Lehigh Acres.  

Survivors include two daughters, Marianne E. Mullinix, Harrisburg, PA; and Marcia N. Mullinix, Mt. Joy, PA; one brother, James C. (Linda) Tom, South Bend, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Jane Tom and Doris Loretta Tom.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Indiana.
