Evelyn Pruitt

Evelyn Fern Pruitt, 93, Macy, passed away at 6:17 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at her daughter’s residence in Macy.

She was born on June 4, 1924, in Brookston, Indiana.  She was married to Osta Leo Pruitt, and he preceded in death exactly forty-one years ago on March 29, 1977.  

She was a member of Radiant Life Ministry in Kokomo.

She is survived by her five children, Leo Edward Pruitt, Macy; Loran Monroe (Honey) Pruitt, Warsaw; Pamela Sue Bechdolt, Perry, Florida; Terry Lee Pruitt, South Bend; Cathy Jo Young, Macy; and one hundred ten grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; one brother, Evan Paul Nichols, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four children, Mark Allen Pruitt, Wayne Eugene Pruitt, Penny Lynn Pruitt, and an infant child; and six siblings, Elizabeth Summerton, Buddy Nichols, Leroy Nichols, Harold Nichols, Betty Pruitt, Joann Seacrest.

Funeral services will held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2018, at Radiant Life Ministries, 1602 E Gano, Kokomo, Indiana.    Burial will be in IOOF Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Pittsburg, Indiana.

A time of visitation with the family will be from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
