Kathy Ann (See) Carlson

Kathy Ann Carlson, 73, Deedsville, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Saturday, September 7, 2019, at her residence.

Born on March 20, 1946, in Rochester, Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry See, Jr. and Donnabelle Holcomb See.  On January 10, 1965, at the Deedsville United Methodist Church, she was married to Jerry L. Carlson, and he survives.  

Kathy was a member of the Deedsville United Methodist Church in Deedsville, Indiana.  She graduated from North Miami High School in 1964 and later retired from North Miami where she worked for many years in the elementary kitchen.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry L. Carlson, Deedsville; three daughters, Kelly (Rod) Roth, Macy; Kandy Barker, Peru; and Sarah (Dustin) Sisk, Akron; grandchildren, Josh (Candace) Roth, Fishers; Zac Roth, Macy; Aaron (Jessica) Barker, Las Vegas; Austin (Abby) Barker, Wabash; and Saylor Belle Sisk, Akron; great-grandchildren, Willa and Camden Barker, Las Vegas; father-in-law, Francis Carlson, Rochester; special cousins, Mark (Brenda) Gundrum, Fulton, and Richard (Karyn) Gundrum, Logansport; special nieces, Kendra Carlson, Peru, and Kristen Garrison, Macy; and several sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Lori Kay Carlson; brother, Larry Joe See; and mother-in-law, Martha Carlson.  

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Bill Babb officiating.  Burial will follow in Deedsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.  

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
