Larry Stephen Wilson

Larry Stephen Wilson, 67, Mexico, Indiana, passed away at 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, Elkhart, Indiana.

Born November 7, 1950, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of the late William E. and Helen Maxine Lewis Wilson.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served from 1969-1972.  He loved to golf and ride his bike on the railroad trails.  

He enjoyed spending time with his beloved family, and he is survived by his daughter, Stephanie L. Hostetler, Macy; two grandsons, Benjamin Hostetler and Lukas Hostetler, both of Macy; one brother, Mick (Judy) Wilson, Rochester; and one sister, Billie (Bill) Hoover, Peru.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Dennis Craig Wilson; and his wife, Beth Alane Wooten Wilson.

Military rites will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, presented by the Miami County Military Rites Team.  

There will be a time of visitation with the family following the military rites from 3-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
