Orlando M Martinez

Orlando M. Martinez, Jr., 66, McGrawsville, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at his residence.

Born August 27, 1952, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, he was the son of Orlando M. Martinez, Sr., and Tilly Alire-Collado.  

He was a US Army Veteran, having served during Vietnam.  He was a retired heavy equipment operator, employed by I.U.O.E. Local 103.

Survivors include his daughter Sierra Martinez-Burnell and husband Matthew, Peru; son, James Chapman and wife Melinda, Frankfort; sisters, June Ruiz, Grand Junction, CO; Carmen Martinez-Meza, Albuquerque, NM; Joleen Castro, Grand Junction, CO; and Debbie Moline, Grand Junction, Co; brother, Harold Martinez, Oak Creek, CO; step-mother, Lucy Martinez, Espanola, NM; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbors, and close friends.  He is also survived by his beloved canine companions, Max and Winnie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and forever partner, Bonnie Rock; and his siblings, Leroy Martinez and Ruby Miera. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at Sol House, 510 West Superior Street, Kokomo, IN.

McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.
