Richard Joe Mosley, Sr.

Richard Joe Mosley, Sr., 64, Peru, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019, at his residence.

Born August 16, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, and raised in Arkansas, he was the son of Raymond Hugh Mosley and Iona Ing Mosley.  

He had worked at Classico in Peru for several years and had been a roofing contractor.  He enjoyed working as a tattoo artist, riding motorcycles, fishing, and spending time with his animals and family.

He is survived by three children, Eddie Becraft, Indiana; Richard Joe (Becky) Mosley, Jr., Peru; and Jeremiah Joseph Mosley, Peru; siblings, Wedge Mosley, Arkansas, and Dovie Wright, Peru; grandchildren, Ashley Mosley, Chace Mosley, Aeriel Mosley, and Iona Clem Mosley.  

He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Carl Dean Mosley, Donald Ray Mosley; and sister, Kay Merritt.

A time of visitation will be from noon-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.

Private family burial will be on Monday in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
