Shirley Marie (Morris) Heckathorn

Shirley Marie Heckathorn, 72, Macy, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 5, 2019.

Born July 29, 1946, in Miami County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Lawrence Ahnert and Icea Morris.  She married Phillip Arthur Heckathorn on December 9, 1963, and he passed away on February 6, 2017.

Shirley was a homemaker and went to almost every horsepull in which her husband and sons participated.

She is survived by three sons, Dean Heckathorn, Macy; Keith (Janita) Heckathorn, Macy; and Joe Heckathorn, Walkerton; eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Phil; one son, Phillip, Jr.; her parents; brother, George Morris; and sisters, Carol Morris and Naomi Ruth Livingston.

Visitation will be from 2-6:00 on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
