Wayne Harvey Hill, 78, Denver, Indiana, passed away at 2:58 p.m. on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Born August 17, 1939, in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, he was the son of Grover Carl and Kathryn Eunice Brown Hill.  On May 13, 1961, in Germany, he was married to Monika Elisabeth Schork, and she survives.

He served his country in both the United States Army and the United States Air Force.  He retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo as Supervisor.  

In addition to his wife, Monika Hill, Denver, he is survived by two children, Sandra LaFerney and husband Al, Rochester; and Jeffery Hill, Denver; grandchildren, Melissa Neumann and husband Adam, Kokomo; Cierra Hill, Wayne Hill, Ali Dress, all of Peru; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Tyler Siddall; and two brothers, Marlin (Carol) Hill, Pennsylvania; and Grover (Kathy) Hill, Colorado. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, DeWayne Hill, and one grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Chaplain Jason See officiating.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana, with military rites being presented by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
