Antoine Dominique Yarbrough, 8, Kokomo, was lifted into the arms of Jesus on Thursday evening, July 27, 2023, in Howard County.
 
Born February 17, 2015, in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of Destiny Naquisha Louise Stewart and Glenn Leroy Yarbrough, Jr.  
 
Antoine was getting ready to start his third-grade year at Sycamore Elementary School where he received multiple trophies and certificates for reading, spelling, and writing.

Antoine wasn’t the athletic type, but when it came to soccer he excelled. Antoine was a loving child, full of smiles, laughter, and playfulness;  he was always lighting the world with his infectious personality and presence. Antoine loved to dance (like his daddy). He enjoyed making TikTok and YouTube videos, playing with his plushies, super Mario, and hanging with his best friends DJ, Jaceon, and Zoey. Most of all, Antoine enjoyed spending time with his GiGi.  
 
Left to cherish these precious memories are his mother, Destiny Stewart (Spencer), Kokomo; father, Glenn Yarbrough, Jr. (Kylie), Kokomo; siblings, Zacariah, Melhani, Jocelynn, Lillian, and Brayden; grandparents Antoine and Jacqueline Johnson; Anthyon and Teonvia Elliott; Vanzie Pendergrass; great-grandparents Shirley McCullum; Vater McClinton; Frances Elliott; Mayola Baker; Karen Trusty; Erma Beard; great-great grandmother Marion Smith; aunts Sharika, Yardra, Darryelle, and Jacklyn; uncles Fred and Adream; and  many aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members, and many friends.  

Antoine was preceded in death by his great grandparents DeWayne McCullum; Marcus McClinton; Benita Bryant; and aunt Florinda Bryant (auntie).

Visitation will be from 3-6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023, at Straitgate House of Prayer Ministries, 312 East North Street, Kokomo, 

A Celebration of Life service will be Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Straitgate House of Prayer Ministries, 312 East North Street, Kokomo, with Pastor Jack Woodard officiating.  An additional visitation time will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.  Burial will follow in Kokomo Memorial Park 1300 East North Street, Kokomo.
