Chrisann Longstreet Obituary

Chrisann Renie Hensler Longstreet, 65, Noblesville, passed away at 6:50 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Born July 20, 1955, in Kokomo, Indiana, she was the daughter of Charles and Donna Sommers Hensler.  On February 24, 2001, she married Richard Longstreet, and he survives.

Chrisann most recently worked for the Indiana Spine Group. Throughout the years, she made friends wherever she worked, including Strickler Jewelers and with the dental office of Dr. Thomas Prather in Kokomo.  Chrisann loved photography, creating greeting cards, and journaling her life's journey on her online blog.  Above all else, she loved her family and anything that involved her familY; her most favorite times were spent with them.  

Survivors include her husband, Richard Longstreet, Noblesville; mother, Donna Hensler, Kokomo; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Willis and Shirley Longstreet, Cincinnati, OH; daughter, Misty (Stephen) Edens, Noblesville; sons, Jason (Julie) Kendall, Greentown; and Brandon Kendall, Noblesville; grandchildren, Zachary Kay, Lauren Kay, Madison Kay, and Makayla Edens, all of Noblesville; and Cora Kendall and Charles Kendall, Greentown; sister, Tamara (Craig) Strickler, Kokomo; brother, Stan (Pam) Hensler, Cicero; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  

Chrisann was preceded in death by her father, Charles Hensler, and most recently by her nephew, Weston Strickler.

A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at Kokomo Zion United Methodist Church, with Pastor Jeanne Winter officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, at the church.

Memorial Contributions may be made to IMBT (Indiana Bone Marrow Transplant) Patient Assistance Fund.
