Clyde Dilver Goodpaster

Clyde Dilver Goodpaster, 62, Peru, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at his residence.

Born December 31, 1957, in Milan, Indiana, he was the son of Curtis Goodpaster and Eleanor Lewis Goodpaster. On May 4, 1985, in Aurora, Indiana, he was married to the former Cynthia Rose Nobbe, and she survives.  

He was a graduate of Aurora High School and a veteran of the United States Army.  He had worked for Batesville Casket Company.

Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Goodpaster, Peru; daughters, Jamie Lunsford, Julie Rakestraw, and Jerrica (Kyle) Townsend, all of Peru; one son, Jason Lunsford, Vevay, IN; grandchildren, Ethan and Kyley Rakestraw, Aiden Anderson, Tayden and Emery Townsend, and Konner, Hailey, and Katelynn Lunsford; sisters, Dorthea “Dot” Tucker, Beverly Lacey, Mary Horn, Toni Taylor, and Debbie Goodpaster; and brothers, Mike Goodpaster and Clayton Goodpaster.  

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Curt Goodpaster; and one sister, Pauline Goodpaster.

Following his wishes, no services will be held.
