David Lee Jones, Jr., 52, Rochester, Indiana, passed away on Monday evening, March 27, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on August 3, 1970, in South Bend, Indiana. On May 22, 1993, in Tennessee, he was married to Melissa Lynn Taylor who survives.
David was a mechanic and had worked for the Cass County Highway Department. He loved spending time with his family (especially his kids and grandkids) and outdoors, either fishing or kayaking. He was one to always lend a helping hand to others in need.
Survivors include his wife, Melissa Jones, Rochester; four children, Elias (Shannon) Jones, Logansport; Victoria Jones (Tyler Rudd), Rochester; Madison (Derek) Chapman, Logansport; and Wyatt Jones, Rochester; grandchildren, Serenity and Symphony Jones; Natalya and Atlas Chapman, and Briar Thomas; father, David (Sherry) Jones, Michigan; mother, Judy Norman, Illinois; two sisters, Tonya Jones, Twelve Mile; and Davina (Jeremy) Riggle, Fulton; and sister-in-law, Lori Enders, Illinois.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy Enders on January 27, 2023.
