Larry Warren See

Larry Warren See, 82, Mexico, Indiana, passed away at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2023, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Born March 9, 1941, in Mexico, Indiana, he was the son of Carl Clifford and Averill Aurelia (Whitehall) See.   On October 28, 1959, in Logansport, Indiana, he was married to Janet Sue Judy, and she preceded him in death on August 27, 2015.

Larry retired from Air-Master in Peru, Indiana, and had priorly worked for Bob Miller Appliance in South Bend.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, taking care of injured raccoons, riding his motorcycle, floating the Eel River behind his Mexico, Indiana, home.  He always loved the setting of his home, peacefully nestled along the east side of the river behind the home where he was born and raised.  

Survivors include three children, Anthony Wayne See, Peru; Steven Warren See (partner, Larry Tom), Mishawaka, Indiana; and Trudy Lynn (Patrick) Gray, South Bend; three grandchildren, Kathryn Hope Kennedy, Peru; Stephanie Lynn Cole, Mishawaka; and Nicholas Warren Cole, South Bend; one great-granddaughter, Alaina Dove Gray, Mishawaka; sister, Peggy Kline, Mexico; and one sister-in-law, Judy See, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Noel See, Walter Eugene See, and Roy Quinton See; sister, Carol A. “Susie” Newman; and one grandson, Ryan Alexander Cole.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in memory of Larry’s grandson, Ryan.
