Rhoda Sybil (Ricks) Moredock
Obituary
Rhoda “Dodie” Sybil Ricks Moredock, 83, formerly of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away Friday morning, June 3, 2022, at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester.
Born February 28, 1939, near Buffalo, New York, she was
the daughter of James Benjamin and Ethel Gertrude (Secord) Ricks. On August 30, 1986, in West Middleton, Indiana, she was married to Robert Eugene Moredock, and he preceded her in death on October 14, 2018.
She loved antiques, shopping, paying Euchre, crafting, and caring for her dogs.
Survivors include her three children, Dawn Eaker (Bryon Ringeisen), Denver; Richard (Maryann) Rhine, Kokomo; and Dodie (Eric) Weaver, Kokomo; grandchildren, Daryn (Hayden) Sturch; Dustyn Shrock (Jennifer Cecil), Rick Rhine, Jon Rhine, Suzie Rhine, and Jacob Weaver, M.D. (Anna Harned, M.D.); and two great-grandchildren, Gavyn Fritz, and “Boopa” Sturch.
Rhoda was the oldest of three sisters, and survived by her two beloved sisters, Pam (Arthur) Irwin, Michigantown; and Cindy (Gary) Roberts, Kokomo.
Private family services were held at McClain Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana, or Kokomo Humane Society.
